Thanks to enlivend , who posted on Curly Logo and got me drawing this:


cs pu back 100 pd setpc 5 repeat 720 [fd 15 rt repcount] repeat 5 [rt 30 repeat 720 [fd 15 rt repcount]]

which took about 10 mins to execute - quickly losing its appeal especially as I had to keep clicking away on a recurring "Unresponsive Script" message. 
It has a smaller yellow cousin here:

which was a little faster.

This one is quite dazzling:
